Can I use BHEESTIE more than once?
BHEESTIE can be used to dry your electronic devices for up to one year if the blue beads remain blue and you keep the bag sealed at all times. When the blue beads turn grey, the bag needs to be replaced. The more moisture that is absorbed, the sooner you will need to replace your BHEESTIE Bag.
What do you mean by everyday moisture removal?
Most electronics are exposed to moisture on a daily basis, especially in humid climates or during sporting activities. Moisture accumulates from sweat, humidity, fog, and rain, as well as when electronics are placed on wet countertops, in bathrooms, in a locker, etc. Daily use of BHEESTIE removes accumulated moisture, thereby decreasing corrosion of delicate circuitry and reducing the chances of your device malfunctioning. We recommend placing your device in BHEESTIE for 2 to 8 hours daily to remove moisture effectively.
Why did all the blue beads disappear?
The disappearance of the blue beads means your BHEESTIE Bag needs to be replaced. If this happens before one year, it could be that the bag was left open or that an item with excessive moisture was placed in the bag. Remember, BHEESTIE removed all that moisture from your device, so your device is better off.
Can I use BHEESTIE to dry out my wet cell phone and my iPod?
Yes! You can use BHEESTIE to remove moisture from any personal electronic device, from expensive headphones to GPS devices to cell phones.
Help! I dropped my phone in the toilet! Help! I got my camera wet on vacation!
BHEESTIE works best if you place your saturated device in your BHEESTIE bag immediately after getting it wet. In a water emergency, it is best to use a fresh BHEESTIE bag, but if you keep a BHEESTIE Bag around for daily moisture maintenance, you may use the same bag for water emergencies. See Daily and Emergency Use Instructions. Because time is of the essence, always have a BHEESTIE Bag on hand.
How come you don't guarantee that my cellphone or personal electronic will work after it gets wet?
I spilled a drink on my phone a month ago. Can it be saved?
Probably not, but get yourself a BHEESTIE bag so you can be ready for next time. Many people keep multiple BHEESTIE Bags at home, in their car, in their sports bags, on their boat, and when they travel. Wet happens. When it does, BHEE ready.
When I cut open the silver bag, should I cut off the zipper?
Do not cut off the zipper! It is best to cut your BHEESTIE Bag close to the top so you have extra room to close the zipper. A well-sealed BHEESTIE Bag ensures that your BHEESTIE Beads will work at full capacity and that BHEESTIE will remove maximum moisture from your device.

Will BHEESTIE work if my device falls in a water-based solution such as salt water, soda, liquor or other water-based liquids?
We recommend conferring with the device manufacturer regarding the appropriate steps to clean and dry out your device. If you are unable to contact the manufacturer and your device is not working, we believe BHEESTIE represents your best chance for recovery. Customers have had success drying out salt-water-saturated devices in the past. We recommend rinsing the device appropriately with clean water immediately, or as soon as possible, and then patting it dry with a towel or microfiber cloth. Place the item in your BHEESTIE Bag for 12 – 24 hours or longer if desired, depending on the size of the device and the degree of saturation. Seal the bag tightly. Please be advised that rinsing some devices in water may damage parts of the device, i.e., hard drives or circuitry.
Will BHEESTIE work if my device falls in a liquid other than water?
In cases of oil, gasoline, solvents and other non-water-based solutions, please confer with the device manufacturer on steps to clean the device. As we cannot account for every possible liquid that devices may encounter, please check first to be sure that mixing water with the non-water-based solution on your device will not cause a dangerous chemical reaction. Mixing fluid types can be dangerous. If such a reaction is possible, we do not recommend rinsing your device in water. You may still place your item in the BHEESTIE Bag to see if it will dry it out.
